Bimmercode app
Hiya, has anyone used the Bimmercode app and WiFi ODB2 adapter combination in Oz yet? If so, where'd you get your adapter from as Amazon don't ship that here.

I just received my iKKEGOL iCar 2 WIFI OBD2 adapter this week. It syncs up with Bimmercode very easily via iphone (possibly works on Android too but I didn't try it). I also found that the network name was "VLINK", not "iKKEGOL" (as per the user manual).
Bimmercode works very well and is easy to use. It's free to download and read codes but if you want to actually code anything you'll have to pay the $43.99... which I think is on the expensive side. But hey, it did do what I wanted. All I need it to do now is get "BMW Apps" to work in motion. |

managed to get all my gear from amazon shipped to aus... worked a treat. Worth it to get rid of the start up disclaimer alone!!!
post up your favourite code changes! i'm always looking for ideas. I just changed my angel eyes to always on. added the mirror fold when locking / unlocking the car. disclaimer delete and seat belt warning delete. |

Been using it since couple months now, works like a charm! I use Esys as well and this app is limited in functionality compared to ESys of course (can?t VO code, FDL coding only)
But given the pain to hook up a laptop for simple FSL codings, I would say it?s completely worth it... |

Thanks everyone, my device arrived and I have coded all of the usual suspects almost without an issue. Certainly beats having to have a Windows system on my MacBook with all of the associated tools.
The only problem I have is that I can't code the extended intermittent indicators, using Expert mode. My notes have it as under FEM_BODY and is BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP, but when I searched in the App, it was 0 now (supposed to be 2) and changing to 5 didn't do anything (yes, I did 'code' and the dash reset). Any hints?

Did you have your car updated at dealer recently? Newer istep iterations have prevented the blinker blinks from being changed. Also applies to ASD where active sound can't be changed to a different engine sound with new update.

As recommended by the Bimmercode developer, I bought the Vgate iCar2 (NOT the iCar3). I got this one off Ebay: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2017-Vga...d/111832126782 Works perfectly well, been coding for a couple of weeks now no problems. Good luck! |

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2017-VGA...d/202001690076 The Bimmercode app works perfectly, I've coded my F30 335 with disclaimer off, autofold mirrors, M startup, doorlights on reverse etc. Also removed the disclaimer from my wife's F20. Definitely worth the $$ and pretty easy overall! |

My adapter turned up yesterday and I made the in-app purchase in the Bimmercode app to unlock coding. I was tempted to go out to the car at lunchtime to start coding but waited until I got home in the evening!
Super impressed at how easy it was to set up and make a few basic changes. So far I've disabled ASS by default, disabled legal disclaimer and activated digital speedo in dash |

Got mine and had a play around this morning.
One issue though i cant connect to the following ECUs; - Front electronic module/ Car Access system - Rear " " - Integrated chassis management - Adv crash safety module. I am installing LED tail lights so i need to turn off the lamp checks, which i would assume is in the rear electronic module! Any help? |
