clear CEL without jb4?
Hey everyone, I want to put on my catless DP, but not with the JB4 (I've had both but felt like my car wasn't running as smooth as I wanted it to, and my car would stall once in a while which was annoying) Is there any other way to clear the CEL? I wish there was a catted DP for the n26 engine, but I can't seem to find one. Thanks!

I have read that something like this has worked for other makes.

A lot of members also use OBD plug-ins. I believe with this you can clear the CEL with your cellphone

I used to use the Torque app for Android (free) and a generic ELM327 OBD2 Bluetooth adaptor (~$5). The light would come on a few times a week but only took a few seconds to clear via my phone. Much easier option than rigging some O2 simulator but requires frequent resets.

Reason why I would need a built-in solution like a working o2 spacer is in order to bring the car with a high flow catted DP into a service without a CEL. Obviously most can't have a JB4 installed when going in for a service. Would it be still loud enough for them to notice the car has an aftermarket DP?

If you need to clear CELs, I use OBDLINK LX (Bluetooth) paired up with Android and its free OBDLINK app reads and clear codes also monitors temps and shows other gauges.. I also use Dash command and Torque Pro app

Excuse my ignorance, but doesn't clearing the codes, reset the car's emissions testing system, and if you go in for inspection, it will show "not ready" until you complete a full drive cycle?

Do not buy this, it doesn't work on the N55.

You can use the BMS canflap module to clear the codes. I have seen some N26 run with catted DP, no tune and did not get a code. If you would like to go to the extreme, get a JB4 and use it to clear codes only without any power gains
