Lease pull ahead

How do you get offered a pull ahead? Is it from BMW NA or your dealer? How many months are usually offered.

The offer will be through BMWNA of course. The dealer is the sales outlet. The length of time varies depending on what plan is offered. You will probably get a letter or your CA will reach out to you.

3 months for me

I just did a pull ahead with 3 months left, my dealership started talking to me at 5 months. I think it depends on the car more than anything else, but I could be wrong.

had about four months left on my old lease but was over miles already. Was getting crappy offers from nissan & honda abt pulling me ahead but nothing from bmw as my end date was outside their advertised pull ahead window. Ordered custom anyway & when I went to pick up the dealer picked up the remaining payments so was pleasantly surprised & happy.

If you are not offered a pull ahead, have your dealership check for the airbag recall. My dealership told me if you are within 6 months of the end of lease and the car is on the airbag recall list, they will let you terminate the lease to get into another BMW. I have not seen that it writing though.

They called me in 9 months out. They said they would be interested in making a deal as my car is selling well at the moment on pre-owned. When I got there it was more of how they could offer me a pull ahead with minimal fees and is likely only have to pay a bit more now. Complete waste of time.

Maybe the pull ahead program works better closer to the end of lease as they want to retain your business.

When I recently "pulled ahead" my wife's F30 335, i learned that pull ahead means BMW FS offers the dealer a chance to buy the car at a discounted rate.

This means a specific dealer must want your car to add to their CPO fleet for you to be able to use the pull ahead.

Just contact your local dealers and they'll let you know what's available. Some dealers are willing to work with you more than others. It's definitely not as cookie cutter as a process as you may think it is.
