F30 LCI Tail Lights retrofit!

Especially the LED indicators make such a huge difference. Are reverse lights pure white LED or still a bit yellowish as find in pre LCI?

Reverse lights are annoyingly still halogen! I replaced mine with LED bulbs.

How'd you get on with them? I did mine purely for the LED upgrade rather than needing extra light, instead I find them to be very much directional as there's no even spread of light.

Bloody hell! I don't understand why BMW still puts these crappy halogen bulbs even in face-lifted cars made in 2017. Unacceptable.

I've also replaced with pure white LEDs which are much brighter and they illuminate the surrounding better when reversing in the dark.

There's an LED module for rear and front that'll need activating, and possibly the cold/warm checks turning off.

You may not get a warning light with them, but trust me if you don't code them they will flash every few minutes when ignition is on.

dude are you planning anywhere near preston in the next 3-4weeks? once I get my car back I'm after nbt retrofit

Slight hitch - in Hyderabad at present and in any case I get my car the day I land at Heathrow next week
