Exhaust tip size

Let's try this again, with a better thread title ...

Does anyone know if exhaust tips with a 2.5 inch inlet will fit on a 335i (GT, but I don't think it matters)?

I'm thinking of these for my EBII M Sport, BTW:

I think the exhaust outlet when you take the tip off is 60mm = 2.36" so you should be good with some welding. The shop will also need to trim a little bit of your stock tip off.
