"– although we won’t get the Sport here in the UK, as M Sport will arrive in March."

What, is the M-sport date pushed forward?!

Indeed it does! I'd love to get my hands on an N20... ASAP!

I'm picturing a F31 328xi Touring with 320hp. Vroom!

Makes sense.

No, they changed from making AT owners pay for their slushboxes to rolling the cost of an AT into the base price of the car so MT owners could help subsidize it and get nothing in return. That still pisses me off.

Talking about a performance down grade as for looks it is debatable and last but not least can we chill until someone like yourself visually inspects one?? Better yet a test drive would be nice before drawing conclusions at least that's how I buy.

Once I heard the 328i was getting a turbo 4 I was sold. I wouldn't touch the 328i prior to this change.
I hear ya but if it's turbo why not a 335?? 328 without turbo makes more sense because not everyone desires a turbo. Maybe it's me.

Leaving a 335 for an F30 328?? Down grade.
Marginally. Oh so marginally.

335 is nice, i think the lighter 328 will be more fun, not to mention i can chip it for another 50/50 if need a little more power. 335 is only about 4K more with similar options, but i am really looking forward to the new N20 motor and lighter curb weigh of the 328i. 400lbs lighter than an a4!!!! Cant wait

Have you inspected one? I would assume you haven't. Then why talk about performance down grade? Performance is more than just 0-60 acceleration, which according to BMW official quotes is not that big difference on F30 (5.5s vs 5.9s).

Looks are not debatable to me. F30 looks better than E90 and all the magazine reviews say the new car is better overall.

why 4.5 / 5

Electronic steering... Destroying one of the greatest things about BMW to save 1-2% on gas mileage. Every review pans it. Does this make any sense to do?

Really, this will drive me to a Mercedes 350 variety at some point, even maybe losing my beloved 6mt preference.

True, but people here can get so worked up over a negative review to their favourite car...hehehe.

I believe the next generation C class will also have EPS. The new E class does.

If you like it then that's all that matters and I have not "Inspected" one kinda my point. As far as Bimmers go I'm on my 5th in 11 years so I do believe I know about the many parts of performance. Good luck with you're future purchase and i'm sure it will be another fine 3 series.
