Dealer offered to bring it round today. I couldn't do tomorrow, so it was going to be Wed pick up, and then he suggested Monday drop off on trade plates. I wasn't going to refuse, makes life easier and proper handover done over a cup of tea.

He did ask me to make sure our insurance would cover it, so spoke to them last week and they were fine to take it on risk from today (for theft, fire, vandalism etc) but made it clear i cannot drive it legally on a public road until Tuesday...

What's fantastic is the amount of light in the car, particularly with the sunroof blind withdrawn. Totally different feeling to an all black interior. Makes up for the F31 being slightly smaller inside to the E61 we had.

Very nice, I like the colour combinations and the leather dash. Quite unusual to see a LCI with 403 alloys, virtually all the LCI M-Sport ones I've seen have 442's.

Got my logbook through today too. Wow that was quick. Mind you, I picked my plate on the 1st day the dealer got them issued.

Aint it strange how the 16 plate draws the eye, within weeks it'll be a common sight but it defo stands out when a new number comes out!

Yep, see above, didn't want SPG so had to settle for 403s, which i prefer anyway. Adds a classy look to the car...

Excellent. When the sun was out earlier, i noticed a few light swirls on mine...

Detailer will sort them out in a few weeks, i have promised him i won't wash it between now and then.

Interestingly, i got a hard copy handbook with the car. Had read that one wasn't supplied, so pleasantly surprised.
