New Forgestar wheels BSM M Sport
Hey all,
Specs: Forgestar F14 Gloss Gunmetal 19x8.5 Front ET+32 (Semi-Concave) 235/35/19 Michelin PSS 19x10 Rear ET+38 (Deep-Concave) 265/30/19 Michelin PSS Also installed was the Dinan Performance Suspension Kit (Springs/Bump Stops) Overall I am really happy with the setup. Ride quality/comfort is close to stock with the springs and the handling has greatly improved with reduced body roll. Here are some before pics (sorry all are courtesy of the crappy iPhone camera) STOCK: WHEELS ONLY NO SPRINGS STOCK X DRIVE RIDE HEIGHT WHEELS AND DINAN SPRINGS

Looks great! Did you have any issues with the wheels?
I will never buy Forgestars again, lol! 3 wheels had too much paint on them so they wouldn't even fit so I had to sand them down in the center. Then they didn't seal with the tires so it was A LOT of work involved just to get them to keep the air pressure. But they look great! |

Car looks great! Isn't 235/265 tires too short for X-Drive cars? I think BMW requires tires be within .3" of stock 25.9" tires. I was going to be running 19x9 and 19x10's, and my research shows I have to go 225/255's, or 245/275's to stay within specs.

I meant to weight the oem setup vs the new to see the overall weight difference but didn't, have to wait until I swap for winter

I didn't weigh them either but when you lift them both they feel a lot lighter and the car feels awesome with them paired with Michelin PSS. I came from 20" HRE's with Pirellis and it is like night and day better than that setup but I put that down to the Pirellis (+ its thin profile) since the HRE were even lighter... |

Looking to use Dinan for drop, since it's a little less than H&R, + warranty.
Was the install done at a BMW dealer ?
