So we only get 91 octane gas here in Cali, and that really rules us out for running map 2 in BMS JB4. Does that mean a Challenge HFC DP and a Stage 1 BMS tune is pretty much going to yield the same power increase as getting JB4? Maybe marginally less power...

Still get the JB4 - It's a much better integrated tune and even on map 1 you'll be ~1.5 psi over a stage 1

Other things you can do with JB4 stage 2 you can't do with stage 1

• Read and delete codes
• Autodelete emissions codes thrown off post-cat o2 sensor - if you go HFC you probably won't have them, but might
• Log - the can integration lets you log tons of pertinent data, with much greater frequency than an OBD logger, and accuracy as the tune "lies" to the ecu about boost values
• expandibility - if you ever want to go bigger, meth, e85, nitros, catless dp, bigger turbo etc, stage 2 is crazy flexible
• Delete hidden tuner codes
• Other stuff that's not coming to mind at the moment

The install takes about 5 more minutes than the stage 1 and it doesn't cost that much more. Make sure to get the USB cable as well so you can update the flash as terry releases new ones
