Just wanted to let everyone know that here in Garmany as military memeber you get the 328i base for $30,800 and the 335i for $37,400 also you do not pay any tax which saves about an 3,000 on a $45,000 at a .07% taxes.

Also the more stuff you add to the vehicle the more you get reduced. Example if I get a fully loaded 335i lets say around $55,000 I spoke to my guy at the dealer and you get around $5,300 off that puts you around 49,700.

This has to be a military buy if not this guy failed addition in kindergarten ;p jk

edit: please remember I am not a sales guy and the savings might be more or less. Don't attack me ;p

Also destination fee is like 300 bucks...no idea why MB is free to pick up at the factory. BMW sucks there ;p

Depends if you are more of a tech-hungry/live in your car type of guy -- or if you are a person where the DRIVE is the most important thing.

I ordered a 335i sportline with leather and audio package and that's it.
I don't need an integrated NAVI -- I have an iPhone.
Plus the screen is still going to be there with iDrive -- so it's not like the past generation where you can price out a $50k+ 3 series and still have it come without a SCREEN.

Power vs. Gadgets?

Power.
The 3 series was meant to be driven a certain way and the I-6 turbo does it justice.

MotionX GPS on iPhone4, $0.99. Annual renewal on voice guidance $9.99. ProClipUSA holder $60. Blows away my VW RNS 510 factory system for 1/2 the price of just the friggin' update ("on sale" for $175). And I can stream the voice prompts to the stereo via BT to boot. Yes, integrated nav is nice but an absolute waste of money IMHO. During test drive, I realized as I pulled back into the stealership that my demo had nav/HUD. Never even paid the first bit of attention to it. I certainly am skipping that and most of the other garbage although PDC and the rear view camera are no-brainers for me along with cold weather package and premium on the 335i. Adaptive M suspension, sport 8 speed slushbox upgrade and I think I'm good to go.

Exactly! It's rare that I need a nav, but when I do my Garmin works fantastically well.
