OMG my car has been transformed!

I set the race chip ultimate to it's maximum setting and connected it to my car and now it feels like a totally different car!

If that is an easy upgrade no one would get the MPPK from BMW.

Speaking of the MPPK, do you think it's worth the money?

Absolutely I had the MPPK on mine with M exhaust and could not be any happier.

Are they pretty much the same thing? Both have the "race" settings and give about the same extra boost amnt. Is one really that much better than the other?

It literally is that easy and gives considerably more power than MPPK. People who choose MPPK do it because it's a) OEM, b) doesn't impact warranty, c) and dealers do a good job of selling it, and d) gives better sound.

Isn't the JB4 basically doing the same thing as chipping except without flashing or replacing the EMS?

I don't know much about this particular chip, but chipping my 2000 A4 gave it 50hp at the crank. And if this racechip is anything like it, it really is that easy with chipping FI engines. The challenge is to not throw codes, damage your engine or EMS, and dealing with the extra wear and tear from running additional boost and increased timing.
