Finger crossed my car actually arrived today and is ready for pickup tomorrow!

My CA said they would "figure it out" if my team USA $1k email code doesn't arrive in time.

well i have moved to the finishing touches stage and looks like it will be at the dealer for pick up Saturday (possibly tomorrow)

No answers, not thrilled with his (lack of) communication but the deal I was able to negotiate made it worth while. He told me 8-12 weeks from order date(4/21) so we are still wayyyy ahead of schedule. By the looks of things, my car is NOT on the Asian emperor so I'm guessing delivery to me will be somewhere around 6/13.

question for you guys: how do you track a Northfolk Southern Train from Port of Charleston to final VPC / PCD? BMW Genius gave me a number but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Just called the 800 number, says vehicle is in transit but there is no tracking info from W&W. I have been reading that the website/phone are up to 48 hours behind. Emailed my CA for updated info, anxiously awaiting a reply.

call BMW genius and they will tell you everything you need to know! No need to wait for CA to call you back. Just give them your production number.

My timeline:

5/1 - order placed and production scheduled
5/5 - production started
5/12 - production finished
5/17 or 5/18 - accepted at port
5/20 - left on the asian emperor
6/3- ETA to NY/NJ

Hopefully i get in a day or two after that given its not too far away from my dealership.

My car was completed on May 19, and now its status has been "At port awaiting a shipping vessel" since May 21. If I follow the links in the tracking thread to the Walenius Wilhelmsen site, I searched by ports, Bemerhaven and Port Hueneme, and found this schedule: (see attachment). It lists the next ship leaving Bremerhavan on 5/29 (Morning Cara) and not arriving until 6/24.

I am assuming Port Hueneme since I am in Colorado and I think cars destined here go the long way around to Cali. Is that right?

Also, am I reading the shipping schedules right? Are there other lines that might have ships leaving Bremerhaven with Bimmers a bit sooner?

was advised by my sales guy that my car just left germany early last week. my order# and VIN are not working with the bmw.ca so i cant track it. anybody have any idea when it will get across the pond? quite exciting this waiting game.

If it was early last week - It should be driving off the boat and into Halifax sometime early this week as well.

Depends on what ship it left on. Mine is on the Asian Emperor that left the 20th so it should arrive in Halifax 6/1 and NY/NJ 6/3 maybe earlier i hope. I lost it in tracking due to it being in the middle of the Atlantic now.
