A fine brush will also do. I would have used one if there was one at hand.

I managed to hit a bollard the size of a tiny dwarf at a Kew open carpark (god knows why it was there.. to protect a tree?) but it shrunk the size of the space by 1/3 so annoying.. its about 1cm wide on the bottom of the front bumper. If the bollard was a normal shape rather than wider at the bottom it might have hit the number plate. Luckly I was only going a few miles an hour I felt a small clunk but I though it was a dip in the space! I was gonna give it more beans thank god I didnt! On the other hand I should be looking but it was hidden honest |

No it will not. If that was the case your whole car will be dripping paint in the rain.
