Exactly what I use. Always have the Road Angel with me. Waze is pretty good, but not 100% reliable.

The screen in the Gem models is atrociously bad (it fades over time) but the real issue with RA is their customer service which is shite. When a mandatory firmware upgrade bricked my Gem+ they used every excuse to try and extort money from me including it allegedly needing a new battery (>£100). I had to take guidance from Citizens Advice and repeatedly threaten legal action. Eventually got a replacement unit and an apology from the CEO.

The Target Blue Eye marketing content is absolutely genius. Safely move out of the way of emergency vehicles? Yes, of course, that's exactly why people are buying these.
FYI changing frequencies on TETRA radios isn't trivial. The electronics are tuned to specific licensed bands and I'm assuming these detectors cover the spectrum. Ingenious product that will always work at letting you know your friendly neighborhood public servants are busy doing their job near you. On another note: if you want to speed, go to a track. Speed traps are way less of a concern than a pedestrian or animal on a B road. Serious food for thought there. If you're talking about going a bit over the limit and worried about the mobile vans, just move up here to Scotland. You're almost guaranteed a flash from oncoming traffic as a heads-up for mobile cams. I love the Scottish spirit!
