How long should I expect it to go from 1200 to delivery?
Mine went 1200 late Jul/early Aug and is now sat at a port waiting for a boat to pick him up. Dealer reckons they'll get it on or around 21 Sep.

Longer than I would have hoped.

I have expected delivery for week 43 which is mid-October. Fingers crossed it's earlier.

Yeah I was surprised at how long it sat at 1200, not sure if that's the norm mind. I just rang my dealer and he has a provisional delivery date of 23 Sep.

In another thread I read that it went from a processed code (not sure if it was 1200) to a finished car in a matter of days.

Any idea what caused your delays? Individual options or quirky build?

I honestly don't know, I know I specced it quite heavily and threw in a couple of individual bits and pieces. My dealer said that individual stuff always holds things up but sometimes it can only be a matter of days rather than weeks but not always. He also reckoned that BMW sometimes wait to do individual builds together. I was surprised at how quickly mine went from 1200 to 9000, literally just a couple of days so keep the faith!

Spec looks truly awesome for a top car. Will look with much interest at your opinion with your new stunner.

Wow!, congrat's mate - Look at all those lovely boxes full of M Perf parts!

I'm starting to discover it's a slippery slope .....I was absolutely set on keeping the exterior of mine standard however, I think it all starts with that little M Perf black grille. As soon I came around to that, I've started looking at side skirts and splitters and thinking .... that would really complete the look.

PS - Has your order gone beyond status "1200 Scheduled for Production" yet? - I'm still stuck there

It hasn't moved past 1200 - or Riaz hasn't advised of anything moving! Impatiently waiting.

I still have a few things to sort out like normal insurance, GAP insurance, tyre insurance, tracker etc. So plenty of things to sort out before the car comes in.

I'll have the originals in case I need to swap back but fair comment. I think the Opal White leathers will be more of a pain than the mats though!

I like the look of the opal white leather. To be honest the mats aren't that bad. They just seem to look dirty when they're not if that makes sense. Probably because they're a light colour.
Enjoy the car.
Just read the spec of your new car and feck me I think you've ticked everything. That's gonna be a nice car

That's probably true regarding looking dirty. I've never had a light interior on any previous car so this should be interesting.

Haha thanks. I think I cheaped out on 3 options. That would be the TV function, the Online Entertainment, & Internet. Besides that I ticked everything else. The discounts were enough to make the car affordable with all options I could have wanted (and may not even need)...

Nicked the picture from a thread by scotty01. (Hope you don't mind!)

I really like the look of the 405M alloys but thought against it as I can always change later if I curb these alloys or fancy a change at a later date. I've seen them on various websites for a very good price as well. I'll ride these out for a bit.

Yeah I like them more than the 403's.
I've got the 405's and I really like them. They appear to fill out the arches well. Someone thought I'd had the acs springs fitted because it looks a little lower, but I haven't.

Did you get them as 20s? Pictures please!

If I read this properly then they are forged wheels so should be pretty darn light...

Yeah really like the mp kit. Post some pic's of yours when you get it. Are you gonna leave the mp kit in matte black?
