Controller looks fine as Feng says - it is the touch controller from about July 14. It is the same as the link.

I have actually used it as a touch controller from time to time although not being a lefty, it is not entirely natural to spell out letters with.

It does look different actually, the arrows pointing are out further on the idrive in the link and the car I'm looking at has the arrows closer towards the middle I think?

Looks different to mine. Arrows on mine are smaller and closer to the edge. The touch panel is also slightly recessed on mine

You guys are right but I think I know what it is:

It appears to be a bigger knob on the existing controller. Good to use and probably nothing to worry about.

Not so much an aftermarket controller but more like a 'stick on' knob thing on the existing little knob to make the controller look and feel larger... essentially cosmetic and easier to use.

Could be a trick for people who don't have forums to check with as they think 'bigger knob = touch' but this one definitely just looks cosmetic.

don't think it's anything to be concerned with (don't hold me to that though )
