02APR13: OBERON from Bremerhaven to Baltimore
The M Sport has it's sea legs now! I'm getting seriously excited.
Kind of ironic that the Oberon left port with my vehicle on April 2nd, which is my birthday. Double bonus! Anyone else have a car on board? |

I'm hoping to take delivery at Motorwerks mid-May. I almost ordered your exact car lol, but switched to Sport Line with Tech Package at the last minute. |

Mine took 5 days. It started on Monday 3/18 and was finished on Friday 3/22. From there it was transported from the build location in Munich to Bremerhaven within 3 or 4 days. The boat departed with my car onboard 11 days after the car was finished.
I am getting mine through BMW of Minnetonka. I held a two dealership Thunderdome and BMW of Minnetonka walked out alive. With incentives I'm getting it for about $400 under invoice. Where is your car being built? |

EB is an awesome color. MW had a 328 M Sport that I looked at (though it was xDrive which I wasn't interested in), and seeing it in person blew me away. You'll love it! |

My most recent previous Bimmer was a 99 M Coupe in Estorilblau. I love the color and I miss it. It was the primary reason for me getting the 3er as opposed to the X1.

SWEET! I'm getting a carbon rear trunk spoiler installed, but hopefully I should be on the same timeline.
I am having front clear shield and window tint installed, so I may not get my car until Monday or Tuesday though. The anticipation SUCKS!!! |

NICE!
We are getting pounded with a snow storm right now. I doubt I will get my car before Monday. Current Mazda that I'm trading in has Blizzaks, so I can't ditch that car until this mess is over. |

My car was finally loaded on a truck today. Holy cow that took a while...8 days.
It's theoretically only 17hrs drive time from Baltimore to Minneapolis, so that's 2 days worth of travel. It'd be nice if I could get the car on Saturday, but my CA said that Monday or Tuesday was more likely. |

Wow, 8 days at the VDC? Was this just because you were having accessories installed or are there backlogs there?
I'm scheduled to arrive at the VDC next Tuesday and my CA seems to be anticipating a quick turnaround. We shall see. Look on the bright side though, at least the roads should be clean by the time your car arrives. I would not want to have taken delivery of a new car during our recent (never ending?) stream of winter storms. |

Mine came in on the same boat and I still haven't heard anything. I didn't have any accessories installed at the VDC either. They must be behind or something, and of course my CA is no help at all!

I never got a reason why it took so long. It just did. My car should be at the dealership anytime now. Going absolutely effing batty right now...
