I'm trying to find out for certain if the side marker LEDs are present in the UK headlamps, I'm pretty sure they're not, but I've not seen a US headlight up close to see what they look like compared to the UK ones.

I can't see where they'd be on the UK ones if they were there at all, but I know in the past BMW have kept the LEDs there (like they did with the 4 series and the E90 ones) so I'm hoping I've just missed it.

Would one of you kind folks be able to post a photo of a close up of the side marker LEDs on the adaptive LCI LED headlights please?

My car is parked elsewhere right now, but you can see an orange LED in the winky picture. The car is US spec.

Thanks, would I be right in thinking the light is emitted from a plastic light guide with ridges on? I don't have anything like that on mine

Yeah, it either a light guide or they're directly underneath. Tricky to see.

Thanks, I'll get a photo of mine close up tomorrow, if you wouldn't mind having a look and confirming if it's different, that'd be really helpful.

the light modules on my car say "US LL" on it... i guess it is US version of the lights...

I've just had a closer look and spotted what I think might be it, now to find out why it doesn't do anything!

No, I don't think I've got them, that looks like it's a reflection of the pattern on the inside of the lamp.
