Question Any good dealerships in NorCal?

Looking for a $1,000 over invoice deal at a good dealership with a nice client advisor in the northern California San Fran/San Jose Bay Area. Any suggestions?

Why so generous?

The short answer is any of them should give you $1000 over without blinking.

I emailed five dealerships in the Bay Area using Edmunds asking for a quote based on specs I already had in mind. Most were willing to offer invoice (incl $580 for MACO/training) at first blush. Without much effort I was able to get that down to $500 under (or $80 over if you think the fees shouldn't be included). With that quote in hand they were all willing to match so I just went with the one closest to where I live. I guess a nice CA is a plus but if you already know what you want and you can handle the haggling online/over the phone, all you really need is someone to help you with the paperwork.

Mind you this was for a MY12 328i - YMMV for MY13, which dealers seemed less interested in negotiating on this month even though it's the same car.

Interesting! I'm happy to give $500 over invoice, but I'm not willing to offer $580 for MACO/training. I'll give $725 Acquisition Fee, $449 Title and License, and $199 Doc Fee. That's it.

Think a NorCal dealer will accept that?

Not on a car that we don't have allocation on. I don't want to just hold your money for the fun if it...

So you can't even order it regardless of price? How could BMW not give you ANY allocation for the car??
