Hi,

Wondered if anybody else has had this error come up on the display screen:

"no acoustic tones"

No warning that anything was wrong, I just noticed that the radio wasn't working and now there are no bongs or any life in the audio system, and therefore no audio from the parking sensors.

Anybody have any ideas? BMW can't look at the car for 7 days, and I'm driving around with a portable radio on my passenger seat!


Before anybody asks, I've checked that the system is not muted.

Never had that error..but once every couple months all sounds from the speakers stop for a good 10 minutes, then everything is back to normal.
I couldnt find out what is causing it , as long as it only happens once every 2 months, i am fine with it

All fixed today with a new amplifier fitted.
