Downpipe and intercooler is where I would honestly start for the N20... then tune it and you are good to go. After that, a turbo upgrade will be necessary... everything else is junk unless you like 5 hp gains.

The problem with that line of reasoning is it's too logical. People have proven time and time again that they are willing to throw money at intakes and exhausts for the sake of sound, even if they result in zero performance gain.

Got a date yet? This could be a lease friendly mod, although I'm not sure it will be worth while and if anything, a step back from stock as the other guys previously mentioned.

Cold air intakes are a joke... I wouldn't bother, downpipes and intercoolers should be the first mods to consider then after a tune.

I ran a dual cone intake on my 135i and it lost a few FP of tq down low but it gained a better throttle response.
