Well I finally had the Super Sports installed on my car. I had purchased them prior to taking delivery of the car, but after getting a few different opinions I was hesitant to have them installed. Well I pulled the trigger... I couldn't stand the 4x4 look anymore

My Review:
I got a few people telling me that the ride is bouncy, and rough, etc... Well that is anything but the truth! The car ride just as smooth as factory, and in my opinion BETTER! I would say it is about 15% firmer than stock in normal driving conditions. However in the turns it is a different creature. No more sway, and rid of most of the body roll. The car really handles much much better and hugs the road. I couldn't be happier with the way it sits and the way it drives! Speed bumps and misc. bumps in the road are not harsh, and no bounciness at all. If you got in the car and didn't know about the springs, it would be very difficult to tell anything was done at all! If I can give one piece of advice to everyone on here... DO IT!

the stock shocks are not made for conditions this low. sure the first few months the ride wont be bad, but as time will go on your ride will get worse, unless of course you have perfectly smooth roads wherever you are.

there is a reason a properly matched shock / spring setup costs 1200$ / coilovers $1500, while this only costs a couple hundred.

I have done the same as the OP and will update if/when something major happens to my shocks...if it ever does before my lease is up.

I've had them on there for quite a while, and still rides great. I had an Audi prior to this car with H&R springs on it for over 3 years. Over 70,000 miles. And not one issue. I understand your concern, but you wont see any problem with the stock shocks sub 50,000 miles at the minimum.

yea.. i really want to drop the f30 b/c it def sits WAY to high, the e90 sport actually had a perfect height imo.

I have to take a ride in someone's f30 with h&rs with say 15k on the clock to accept that these shocks can handle the abuse, but for now i still believe only in proper shocks / springs combo.

I have 7000K miles now on my F30 with H&R sport springs and have had no issues thus far. I'll keep my fingers crossed because I dont want to break down to pay for coilovers yet. Got too many more mods that are a priority to me.

It is firmer. Definitely makes the ride and steering feel much like it should feel. In all honesty... I wouldn't want it without them. As far as warranty goes, I have had no issues.

My car is coming in with adaptive suspension... I need to find someone that has lowered their car with ZDH...
I want to know how that's worked out.

I have adaptive and the Sport Springs. Drives amazing and the adaptive suspension is still fully functional

Yes, Msport has the option for the M adaptive suspension, which is pretty much adding in adaptive dampers to the sport springs.

The question is, who has added either aftermarket firmer rate and/or lower springs to their M adaptive system?

Some of us with M adaptive are considering either aftermarket stiffer springs or the stiffer M Perf springs to be used in conjunction with the adaptive dampers.

I have 335i Luxury just lowered with H&R Sports this past weekend with stock rims 225/18/45 RFT all around, stock suspension, 400 miles driven after installed. Height is measured from the wheel center to the upper edge of the fender. Stock ride height measurement: Front is 15 1/8 inches, Rear is 14 3/4 inches. H&R Lowered height: Front is 13 7/8 inches, Rear is 13 3/8 inches.

With the stock suspension, you just get up and go and not worry about the pot holes, now you definitely need to watch out for. You feel every bump. I miss my stock ride quality, but the car looks so much better now...definitely a trade off for sure. Do you think it will lowers a little bit more since it is still settling down? Will it change the ride quality if i change my RFT?

your shocks were not meant for this kind of abuse, if maybe you at least had the sport shocks then the ride quality wouldn't be as bad.

I highly recommend you get some upgraded shocks bilsteins / konis when they come to the US market.
