Of course I did! Not a hard decision at all if you want a wagon/touring. There is virtually nothing else available in Canada like the F31 available now. If I wanted a sedan then I would have got an M3 or perhaps a Panamera...

I am not sure the replacement cost of a HUD windscreen vs a regular one. This may affect out of pocket costs or insurance premiums. Hadn't thought of that until I met with my agent. Definitely something to consider here in Alberta!!

Yeah I may add windshield insurance on this car. I havent on cars past but I managed to get 4 years out of my M3 windshield but it was pretty destroyed at the end.

The cheaper insurance over an M3 will prob be offset by windshield coverage.

Did you guys tint the rear 5 windows? I was looking at tint shops and tint performance.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Yeah I am going to tint the 5 rear windows soon. I had 20% on my Legacy but I think I will go with 35% on the F31. European Auto Tinting was recommended to me by a couple of people. What have you found out?

I have the rear window shades as part of one of my packages. They obscure the back seat quite well and I typically have the tonneau cover closed in the cargo compartment. I didn't feel I needed the tint.

Apparently CAL BMW got most of the cars out of the compound before the real surge went through. I am told about 25 cars got washed down the Bow including a couple of M6 Cabs

I'll hear more on the extent of the loss Monday as my car is to go in for the roof rail replacement and for the SIB on the Sat radio. The M Performance grills are also being installed. I'll post before and after pictures of the roof rails after it's done.

Cal BMW got 375 cars out and the lost 20-40 cars.

To get that many out is pretty impressive so they did a great job.

I was gonna check with them on product and pricing. Make sure what you get will not interfere with the CA.

No it doesn't, and don't count on the USB interface if you want to listen to anything other than your iPod (internet radio, etc) - it won't work.

That is the only reason why I'm holding off otherwise I'd be driving a F31 today.

Did any try to order with headlight washers? Seems this should be a no brainer "standard" - but seems strangely absent in the references.

No headlight washers on the F31 Msport. Not sure about the Modern Line.

Looks great. My F31 order is going in on Fri at Calg BMW.

Mine is fully optioned so will get the new 270 deg view and f/r PDC.

I wish I could have gotten HUD at the time I amended the order that was in the system. Front PDC would be great as well.

What colour did you order? Msport line?

Same as you guys, EB II with MSport, M Perf.

Dont worry, I am in Edmonton so I wont steal your style.

Didnt know about the grills. I'll get the parts guy to get me some for the car and change it the same time as all the painted reflectors I am getting from IND. Maybe IND can get them too. If so I'll see what is better.
