It's worse in LA. I come up about once every two months or so. Traffic isn't too bad in Irvine and/or Newport...then again, I only drive 5 blocks to the office! I do stress though because of the lack of driving etiquette...

No worries. I've ridden the motorcycle between sf and san diego a few times. Rush hour in LA is like no other. The world's biggest high octane lanesplitting video game. I'm used to splitting for 20 or 30 mins around here, but going from north of LA all the way south of OC, all at rush hour, splitting the whole way, including thru the construction of 405 means 90 minutes of the most intense concentration of your life.


Edit: "like no other" only valid in the US. I don't want to get into a pissing match with the scooteristas of southeast asia, mexico, rome, etc.

Whoa! I bet that is intense. Watch out for the text'ers...they do not pay attention to other cars let alone motorcycles. You should attach a helmet cam and sell the rights to the next "Fast" movie.
