It's actually not bad at all. Esp. there are no other bogus fees, like they charge in the GTA

Like, winter mats ($150), wheel locks ($90), nitrogen air ($400), etching ($300).

I hope you got the dealer to throw in at least the mats & wheel locks.

that looks like an awesome deal compared to what I paid for a 2012 sport with 5000km. I look at this and feel like crap for 10k more I could have gotten a 2014 with M-sport.

however in my market (alberta), that price was the the least (other dealership were asking more plus there was only 6 MT vehicle across canada for me to choose from) and my interest is 2.9

Nowadays, all the GTA dealers are charging them. It used to be thrown in (that was about 3 yrs ago or so, even touch up paint) ... no more free lunches

Better put those in writing if you want them. As for the mats, BMW Canada has already confirmed mats do NOT come with the car (right from the factory), therefore, it's always been dealer's discretion in putting them in on delivery day.

I think the floor mats and locks are included. It is indicated as 0 dollar there.

How did your trade-in work out? Why there is "cash back"?
Thanks.

I would get them to include the winter mats as well in addition to a cargo tray for the trunk.

not a cashback. it's the lien balance.

dealer assigns the trade in value of $16K (due to the fact it affects how the HST is calculated) and the balance of lien is then added towards the end

the only thing I don't like is the interest rate @ 4.9% and if OP can do a shiorter term, if possible, you should be able to save a bit of interest.

Lastly, if OP has not finalize the deal, you should put into writing onto the agreement that you are entitled to the lower of interest rate on the date of signed agreement and the date of taking delivery

Why there is a lien balance? Is this common for all trade-ins?

fairly common. If it's non bmw brand, the dealer can also do that for you but there is a dealer admin fee (for dealing with this payout to another car brand) of between $500 - $1000 for just doing the paperwork. Crazy admin fee but some people do elect to let the dealer handle it.

Signed the paper work. Got denied for financing by BMWFS. Had to get a co signer. But anyways car should be here end of november according to dealer.

This works out to 4% off by dealer, $1000 loyalty so that works out to roughly 6% off MSRP.

I could have gotten 6% off by dealer and $1000 for loyalty in the GTA correct?

Highly likely and then a bit more perhaps, at least for sedan. If it's coupe, then it may be a different story because it is totally brand new hot model.

btw, you ask dealer for mats & wheels locks to be thrown in (at N/C) ?

parts in Canada is crazy overpriced. I suggest to push for a free black grills (in exchange for the stock), therefore, don't buy, even at a discount.

^ I do. I buy mine (oem) from the states. Just request the item (not oversized ones) to be shipped by USPS (to avoid brokerage fees)

I had bought from ... call the 1-888 # before ordering to verify method of shipment
