I decided to drop my iPhone today and smash it so I couldn't record the race. But both cars half tank of gas, sport mode on, AFE vs BMS from 0mph. We both brake boost off the line and its dead even to 60-65mph, then my car with the AFE tune starts to slowly pull away. By about a 1/4 mile my car was ahead a car and a half. Pretty close if you ask me.

To really know the difference in tunes you should have then switched cars to verify the results.

Well yeah, want to make sure driver isn't a factor. Even brake boosting and shift points on an auto being manually shifted can make a difference.

If your car won by the same amount even after the driver switch then it would be conclusive.

Wow! Seems to be once you hit around 65-80mph the car with the aFe tune pulls on the other with BMS pretty good! it is a close match! And i am sure once the BMS stage 2 comes out, it will be a totally different story. Thank you sooo much bro on the comparison! If you can next time, definitely record the race!

Ya you are totally right! The driver does play a big factor. Just for the sake of making sure, definitely switch cars and see what happens. Just to be sure you know.

Definitely give it a try and see if there is a difference in the driver, just to be sure you know.

Ok, we switched cars lol, pretty much the same thing...even up to 60mph then my car started to pull away slowly. I am ordering the BMS tune so I can get the stage 2. I will be selling my AFE scorcher for a decent price if your interested.

Good to know!

I think the BMS stage 1 is modest as they knew more power was coming.

So looks like at the end, they are dead even. Until 60mph, the one with the aFe tune pulls away slowly and wins in the long run... Thanks a lot for your time and results once again bro! Looks like i will be definitely be ordering my BMS tonight! And wait for the stage 2.

You should also do some pulls while rolling at various speeds. Oh, and some decent video footage wouldn't be a bad idea. Out of curiosity, did both cars have the same wheels and tires?

There are always car to car variations as well. But one nice thing about the BMS Stage1 is it's also adjustable. So connect your laptop and bump the boost gain up to +4psi for a little more kick if you are on 93 octane. And +6psi if you are on racing fuel for a lot more kick.

Hmm, I was running 93 by default and had no changes to the tune.

I need to buy a cable to hook it up to the laptop right?
