The F-type is a 2 seater roadster. It's in a different class than a 3-series... and way more expensive. I think it's supposed to compete with Porsche. I read somewhere that the XK is most likely going to increase in size and become an Aston Martin-type competitor with a major price increase. So maybe the F is going to replace it.
