Conti DWS 06
About 5k miles so far and I am pleased. One surprise is how much these break free, in a good way. When I push hard thru a curve or on a 90° turn with hard throttle the tires will drift a little but in a controlled kinda way. I have never felt such a sensation but this is also my first Bimmer and I didn't push as hard with the Pirelli P7's before replacing. Xdrive too. Anyone with this tire care to explain the sensation? Good or bad?

Once you get better tires, you feel like superman. However, stickier tires dont mean squat when tires dont make good contact with the ground. Upgrade your dampers to Bistein B6.

Oh yeah. So i was thinking to replace my OEM pirelli p7 RFT with continental DWS 06 non-RFT?
What's your review so far, like the overall experience? And also any dislikes? Also, why didn't you go with pirelli p7 non-RFT instead? |

I had two sets of DWS on my E90. They are great tires.

I chose the Contis because I live in an area that can have bad snow and ice in the winter. As ratings go they were rated the highest across the board including snow and wet conditions. |
