I don't know is the answer. From ordering to delivery was 100 days for me but this was more to do with the build slot being at the start of August than the delay in the process.

When I added the Individual options my car immediately went into lockdown so I couldn't add any more options. That was a month before the allocated build date and I was told that because of the Individual options they had to lock it just to guarantee it otherwise it would have been pushed back.

If you have a build slot that is 4-5 weeks after ordering I don't think there would be a problem based upon my order. I suppose it all depends on the spec.

Sorry I can't be any more help

In answer to your first question, The 19s are as far as I know the standard 403Ms, I didn't specifically request anything different about them. Although they are from before they went scarce so maybe that has something to do with it

There were a few things I didn't add, but not many

Of course, what's most important is that you're happy with the purchase!
Fortunately I have a very caring wife who considers my happiness to be most important. At least, I hope that's the case... Let's just hope she never has to be put to the test, I'll just shred all the paperwork just to be on the safe side

Hmmmm there seem to be two versions, the ones I saw at the dealer and the ones pictured in the price list are a definitly two tone, yours seem to be one colour. I like the ones you have better.

I am loving the black trim, makes it look classier than the aluminium type trims (look like painted silver on the idrive panel). Is that piano black XE7?

More pictures needed of your car please

Yes, it is the XE7 with the pearl effect chrome. I'll try and take more photos of the interior to show them better but the black is so shiny the reflection is all you end up seeing

I haven't seen the two tone wheels I'll have to do a search and see if I can find something to compare them with mine.

As much as I love my kids they are officially banned

A 23 month old and a 6 month old with a light interior probably wasn't the best idea. That's why I have my car and my wife has the family wagon

I've never seen the 403M in two-tone, unless you're referring to the dark grey inserts between each spoke.

Perhaps I am seeing things, but I'm sure the M Sport at my local dealer has darker grey inner rim and on the 'B' face of the spokes, and a machined front face

EDIT: Ignore me....having looked at all the pics online, it is probably just the difference between indoor and outdoor light differences. The Grey parts look darker indoors.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Piano black trim......I have it in my Mercedes.

I find in the Merc, it gets scratched really easily. It is made from black plastic, no painted surface....is this the same with the BMW piano black?

Cosmetically, it looks amazing although it's obviously a dust and fingerprint magnet! It some how sets the whole colour combination off nicely though.

I'm hoping I never have to find out how it scratches, although from the VIN check it says:

Indiv. int.trim strips,piano paint,black

so I can only assume it is painted although unable to confirm

The M-Sport braking system was an added £570 (approx $900) which I thought was a great price

Sounds like a few weeks if anything. Definitely looks like it was worth it!

It's definitely worth it! I love the whole package and can recommend it to anyone

Even the wait wasn't an issue as my delivery date managed to be 3 weeks ahead of the original one so if anything it brought it forward for me
