Changed build date to 0713, I assume this is the zeitkriterium (time criterion) value, my old one was 0312

It would appear I have problems , next step is to remove emulator and try coding again. Failing that I may give up.
Yes, but in doing so, it now also assumes car has ZBE3 Touch and not ZBE2, and it would expect TBX Handwriting Module. You have bits and pieces from different hardware configurations and build levels, so no single Build Date will be correct for you.

I don't have touch so would returning date to original help, would that effect coding VO?

I already fixed your ZBE2. But VO Coding NBT with any date that supports NBT will assume ZBE3 because as far as I know, the only NBT offered with ZBE2 was a 2013 F10. After that, all NBT setups came with new ZBE3 Touch Controller.

So is it the fact I don't have a touch controller stopping me coding HU & KOMBI?

I assume eyes free is the display near the clocks? (Mine currently don't work)And as for visual volume mine already has that?

Kitster, what was your original build date? Mine was 03/12

Just got a message back from the supplier of my emulator, he said make sure optical wires are connected into back of NBT? What optic wires?
I don't remember removing any optic wires from the rear of my HU_ENTRY?

Oh hang on he's decided it might not have any..... I'll wait till he's finished then report back

He now wants to connect via teamview to try to read NBT?

He's talking about the MOST cables. They need to be moved from the original quadlok connector and into the emulator that plugs into the NBT. This is because the emulator had no MOST cable pass through.

Look at the original block, the MOST cables are thick black and ribbed pattern. If you have them then you need to move them back to the emulator.l block.

So not all cars have MOST? Did yours? So they will currently be on the back on the original block, and since the emulator doesn't extend them, they need to be moved manually into the back of the NBT unit.... Am I understanding this correctly?

This could explain the comm's problem

Mine did have the MOST cables. In fact I believe most cars will have it as it carries a lot data for various components..... All the cars I've seen did have the MOST.

Your understanding is correct.

No worries, once you get it sorted it'll be a breeze.

I'm actually putting mine back in tonight as the car has been in with the dealers.

Want me to come and give you a hand, getting a pro at taking dash out, and coding..... Just my coding ain't working at the mo lmao

To put original back in is it a case of refitting original stuff, fa coding original spec an VO coding hu_entry & KOMBI again?

If you’re around London, you can drop by and I’ll take a quick look.

Yup, you just remove 609, 6NR (if you have apps) and change 6NS back to 6NK, write your FA back to your car. Then you’ll see HU_ENTRY. VO coded that…..bingo it should all be back.

Not necessarily. You have a Frankenstein configuration though, and you need to be mindful of that. VO Coding NBT with 0713 date will assume ZBE3 and TBX are present, but it should not be an issue.

I told you when I was connected that you had a MOST bus issue as Read ECU (not Read SVT) would not communicate with your Kombi.

I'm up north, Lincolnshire. I'm sure I'll get there in the end, just scary playing around with the most expensive car I've ever owned. Hoping to get all finished for Thursday as It's booked in for a remap.

I can only apologise, I am learning as I go here. I assumed that the emulator extended everything "plug & play". I will be removing unit in a couple of hours hoping It's my stupidity of not moving these MOST connections that's been the issue all along.
