I believe bms recommend only map5 for the 320i.

I've been running map1 and ethanol with DP for a while without problem though. But who knows maybe I blow my engine tomorrow.
PS is a Activeflex so maybe little different from normal 320i but I don't think it is much

Just got my ER Catless downpipe on last week! Running it with jb4 map 2. Car runs great. Seemed to definitely wake it up compared to stock dp with jb4 map 1

Agree, this combo gets you a nice increase in power and sound.
Make sure to keep an eye on your charge pipe (in case it is still stock). It will not last long with all that extra boost

Yes stock charge pipe will fail.

I recommend you grab an Evolution Racewerks charge pipe before that happens

Thats what I hear most of the time from my customers. DownPipes with map2 wake up the car a lot and really improve the turbo spool.

Like Mike@XPH mentioned keep an eye out on the charge pipe. Saying that The F-series ones aren't as prone to failure as the E-series ones but its a good idea to put it on the mod list. Its not an impending doom situation so don't feel pressured to have to run out and get right away but it is a good idea to have on the upgrade list down the road. The N20 ones seem even less prone to failure then the N55 ones as well and from what I have seen are holding up well.

I got rained out last week...so I went to the track tonight but with no e85 in it, just 93. I need to pick up the flex fuel harness which I didn't have. I tried the e85 without the harness

On 93 tonight I only got 1 pass off
Car ran 1.94 60ft. 13.49 et @ 101.79. Not too impressive but about what I expected on 93 octane. I'll be going back with e85 and ff harness in a few weeks
I'll post results when I get back to the track

Left BMW 135 with FBO and I was on the right, car 138.

13.7 @ 100mph it wasn't definitely my best run.

Since then ... only added, Sport+ and Launch control via coding
heading out today to an 1/8th mile track in Kennedale. Looking to put in 104 and use map 7
*** Update ***

dropped my time to 13.1 @ 106mph ... spun off the line a little and I could only launch at 1600rpm. Run Flat Tires are taking a beating.

I was on Jb4 Map7, e85 (40%), Catless downpipe, Injen CAI, Manual shifting on Sport+, .. it was about 48ish outside too...

I am sooooo close to 12's! I just need to launch at a higher RPM :-/

I'm assuming you have a PWG not EWG - hence running the E85 mix?

All I have available the files for map2 in 4th gear... It was my first time actually trying it out. I made a quick chart on excel with boost/rpm looks like on map2 goes up to 21psi

You do know that you can save a screenshot directly in the JB4 software on your computer?
