Coolant Vacuum Pump Recommendation?
I understand the new 340 requires a tool to flush/fill the coolant for the intercooler per BMW TIS. It's generally a good idea to use one for cars anyways to keep air pockets out of the engine.
Does anyone have recommendations on a tool to use? I've found a schwaben unit (not sure if i'm allowed to post the website link). I also found a few in Germany last time I was over there but didn't feel sturdy. |

Clarify more, please - the intercooler on the F30 and E90 335 is air-to-air; an E46 has no intercooler at all (no turbo). Are you referring to the engine cooling system/radiator, etc.? Yes, you do need to "bleed" air out after refilling, but no way to tell if the same tool works for all 3 chassis.
