Panel alignment issues...
After a nasty shunt a month ago, I finally got my car back from the garage. Upon getting home I spent some time looking at the work and noticed some panel alignment issues with the new hood.
Any idea how easy this is to resolve?

Can't tell for sure from the picture if the side to side fit is off, but the front hood to front front plastic panel is definitely off. This could be easily adjusted with the set of bolts that fasten the top lip of the front panel (as long as there is no other damage).
When I changed my grill to all black, I ended up having to remove those bolts so I could lift the front panel a bit to get to the latches on grill. I just made sure I aligned the panel back in the same spot (east to do with a marker where the bolt touches the panel). Anyway, it's a shame your repair shop missed that...take it back and ask them to straighten. |

To me, it looks like the front bumper was not put back on correctly (aligned). Easy fix.
Take it back for them to straighten out or loosen and re-align yourself if you can. |

Just an update. The dealer adjusted some stopper plugs on the bonnet itself to lift the right slightly, (which also lowered the left a smidge).
No photos to hand but it looks much better however the panel gap between the hood and the headlight is now enormous so it's going back in one evening for some adjustments at the garage. I'll try and get a photo of today's changes this evening after work.
