MMM if price is good, why not to try also. MHD is well know on the E series. Would be good a competitor for bm3.

Is MHD working on a true OBD flashing solution so the DME doesn't need to be removed and unlocked? Loved MHD on my E92.

No, to my knowledge it's still needs to be removed. Which renders this pointless imo

Depends... if it $100 vs $600 for PTF then well worth it.

Also if there's no way to get around unlocking the DME it would be awesome if an at home unlock kit was available. Not sure on feasibility of that tho.

No, F series DME will need to be removed and OBD unlocked for any flash.

Which is why they're having such a hard time with B58. It's a completely different DME.

What are peoples thoughts on transferring from BM3 to MHD on an already unlocked DME? I would think it would be feasible to flash back to stock map from BM3 and then a new map from MHD (assuming MHD isn't just going to be one of the BM3 "custom tuners").

Should be no problem. On my E92 I flashed over the Dinan tune with MHD.

More competition is always good ... Hopefully this will not lead to new tuner wars similar to old Cobb pro tuning days

I would, but in a public forum such as this I subscribe to the thought "If you can't say something good, don't say anything at all." You'll note my signature and lack of BM3 related posts recently.

You are more polite than you should be when someone sells you Vaporware, imo.

Then again, thank goodness for a new player.

It gives hope.

Sorry for you guys, but what is the main reason to go over a hybrid car? "Gas" right? then mods will be tricky and most tuners wont spend time and effort for what? 5 cars in the entire forum. Sorry but that's how business is handle.

Mods are tricky, hybrids or not.

Why a Hybrid?

AH3 has more torque, especially low end, than normal 335i.

And your response seems to state you haven't paid attention to next M3/M4.

There are many more than 5 AH3 on forum. 5 members purchased the BM3.

And more were waiting for a working mod to purchase.

Sound like this is their M.O. Unfinished Software.

Is BM3 willing to buyback the units from those who were sold a BM3 based on broken promises?

This is a thread about MHD. BM3 users bashed from post #2.

This just shows why we need more competition.
