F34 Headlight Replacement

Hi everyone. Im new to the forum so please bear with me. I have a 2017 320D GT (F34) which I absolutely love. Recently my halo's on the offside stopped working. BMW diagnosed a control unit which has repaired part of the problem but they are now saying a new headlamp unit is required (circa £1.9K).

Am I being naive to think you can replace the bulbs anymore and if you have a problem, you are looking at a complete headlamp replacement?

Any help would be appreciated.

The LED lamps don't use bulbs, they use modules. They're not cheap, but can be replaced. Look them up at realoem.com
