Stunning to look at in the flesh, and in photos... might have helped that there was a 3GT next to it in the showroom (along with another 4gc that has already been sold)

It's a lot quieter than my Golf R, I was doing 70kph when I thought I was doing 30kph. The ride is so much more compliant too... still feel the bumps but they never really intrude. Some tyre noise but not too bad, no wind noise... overall a very serene place to be!

Steering is much lighter, almost unnatural but I got used to it very quickly. As a daily driver in comfort mode, it's great. The turn-in is so sharp, no significant body roll.

Still have to play with the gizmos, there's a lot more to fiddle with than my E82 1-series (business nav.) Most important thing set first:

Head-Up Display (this is awesome)
Active Cruise Control
M Sport Brakes
Surround View (so so awesome)
harman/kardon sound system
Comfort Access (foot to open the boot is a lot easier than the youtube videos led me to believe)
Seat heating front
Sun protection glazing
Tyre pressure monitor
Variable sport steering

No problems with ride height so far! Fingers crossed...









The second last photo is of the "driver side glovebox" area - a bit disappointed that there is no actual glovebox there thanks to the collision warning button

The pic shows off well just how dark the "sun protection glazing" option is ... darkens the rear half of the car to about 15%. Front windows are not tinted at all, may do them in the future

Your GC looks nice... That will be the 1st thing I'll do tint the windows all around @ 35%. I'm wondering if the M lid spoiler for the 4 Coupe fits the GC???
I found out that the model of M wheels were changed by BMW to a different model so I will be getting the M Brakes as well.
