MPPSK exhaust tips

I've received a quote for installation of the MPPSK for my 440 and the price of the carbon exhaust tips is fucking outrageous.

Are they necessary or can the stock exhaust tips be re-used?

I think you'll need new tips due to the difference in size, but the new tips don't have to be carbon.

Some people have been able to reuse the stock tips, I recall finding a few posts related to it.

I used knockoffs and they look pretty great. Got them off ebay for like $75

TBD on how they look over time, but for now, they look good. I put a picture up in the "what did you do..." thread.
