Thickness is same, same steering wheel except it has M stitching and M1/M2 buttons.

Don't think so. At least it felt pretty much identical to the one in my M Sport when I sat in one at the dealership. Only difference I noticed was the slit in the bottom spoke and the different paddles.

I just got the M3 steering wheel for my 328i. It fit right in. These are the difference:

1. Red/blue stitching
2. Hole on the bottom spoke
3. M Style Paddle Shifts
4. M1/M2 Buttons

Well, we have the Msport...if the M3/M4 is any thicker, my wife couldn't get her hands wrapped around it enough for a good grip.

Yep, a woman's small hands always like to hold on to something thicker.

Not sure why though.... Maybe it's... Ohh never mind.

We'll drop by our local dealer and my wife will check out the M5 steering wheel...now that should be REALLY thick!

That'll likely be the one she likes best. Ask any woman, they like em to feel thick.

The price is a lot difference, it's ridiculous! The first M sport steering wheel that I got cost about 25,000,000 RP. That's about 1,800 bucks. Then I sold the m sport steering wheel and got the brand new M3 Steering wheel for 45,000,000 RP. That is 3,250 bucks! That's almost double the price guys. Crazy huh...and yet I bought it...what an expensive hobbies hehehe....

You mean the wheel is 1/4" bigger or the grip is thicker?
