Solenoid connector for BMS Stage 1
Can't find where I need to be plugging the solenoid connection in. Was at a local meet and we thought I had an N26 motor (which I don't based on the markings on the inside of the hood). I feel like the pictures shown look nothing like the ones on burger tuning. I left the connection stock with the other three in right now and think I probably should disconnect it all. Has anyone had this problem before?

And I have emailed mike and Jon both. Still waiting to hear back. Don't expect to until Monday though so I thought I'd ask here in the mean time.

Looks like you have the electronic wastegate so you leave this unplugged from my knowledge. Confirm with Mike or Jon first. You can't miss the solenoid plug if you have it.

cool thanks, i emailed Mike and he asked what year the car is - a 2013 n20..i checked the inside of the hood to confirm this. Mike hasn't emailed me back yet but i'll keep everyone updated. I feel like this is somewhat strange..am I the only one who has this issue? seem's unlikely.

Oh wow ok based on the BMS instructions it really sounded like the n26 was the only one with it. Good to know then. They really should update the instructions if that's the case...

It's not a problem and it's certainly not strange. It's almost standard.
The electronic solenoid has been in N20 engines since 2012. Mine is a 08/12 car and has the electronic solenoid. Just leave that connector off the electronic solenoid and keep it with the control box. I did that with my Stage 1 unit, which is what you have to do. Go ahead and make the other 3 connections and enjoy your car's new found performance. No need to wait for anyone else to get back to you. It should take you between 5 and 10 mins to install Stage 1. This setup has been discussed on many threads in this section. Also here: Enjoy the read. http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15536

Apologies everyone, thanks for the quick response. And in Mike and Terry's defense they both got back to me over the holiday weekend so that was much appreciated. I guess I was just too preoccupied with following the BMS instructions to a T, which were based on the n20 vs n26 designation as the only indication of whether you should have the electronic wastegate or not.
Anyway, it's all good now. Much appreciate the answers here Quote:
