Ha! Lucky boy!
Probably on their phone or something but then good decision on their part to be fair. I had to do something like that once, but not through my own fault- truck coming round the corner in wrong side of the road, so ended up going in to a lay by at full pelt and straight out the other side. When it's over you can't help but release a "YEE HAH!" in dukes of hazzard style!

I'd definitely be sending that video to the plod - drivers like this need to be taken off the road for everyone's safety (including theirs).

I'll bet you had a beer after that, if they'd of rear ended you at that speed with your foot on the brake the force would've been felt on your neck/spine and could've been life changing
As for music, kiss fm? Always repeating those songs |

Yeah to be honest if that car had hit you that would have been a massive accident and they would be lucky to come out of it with their life or without losing limbs. Stupid.
As an aside I trust that's put you off buying that house knowing what fuckwits drive that road! |

Those things take nigh on 20 seconds to get to 60mph (seriously) so having recently passed the NSL marker she wasn't slowing for ANYTHING

Wow! Thank goodness there was room down the inside, not quite the same but I've had that happen a few times on the motorway, you brake for the slowing traffic almost at a stop and the car behind has to swerve into the left hand lane to avoid totalling your car.

I was on the A34, in the fast lane, approaching traffic ahead. Car ahead of me slows to a stop, as do I. I look in my rearview to see a car barrelling towards me without noticing the stopped traffic (despite my hazards). I quickly smash it in first, check my mirror for the slow lane, and see a truck! There was more distance for the truck to safely slow down, so I quickly throw the car into the slow lane and get the car tucked in as much as possible. The car that was behind me in the fast lane slams on his anchors, and somehow narrowly misses the car that was sat in front of me. Twat. I've been rear-ended twice in the last few years. Both times I was sat stationary in traffic. The first time was a woman that was tailgating me for 15 minutes on a busy A421. We come to a roundabout with a stop/start queue. She isn't paying attention and drives straight into the back of me. Jumps out and acts like she's done nothing wrong. No visible damage but I still put in a claim against her (thankfully, since she had broken the bumper support brackets underneath). The second time was again start/stop traffic, and a young girl was clearly fucking around on her phone as she drove straight into the back of me. Atleast she was apologetic. Another day another claim

A shocking experience that left me very shaken but thankfully unhurt, the car was a total write off but thank God I was in a tank like F10 5 series, but the experience scarred me for months afterwards. I approach slowing and stationary traffic differently these days and always avoid the outside lane in those circumstances, as most accidents that I see are in that lane.

I had a large near-miss last year when a car pulled out of a junction right in front of me when I was travelling at 70mph. Thankfully there was nothing in the oncoming lane so I could quickly swerve around them, but if there was oncoming traffic, I hate to think what would have happened. Since that day I always feel anxious when driving past busy junctions.
