My Forgestar order was delayed because the 8.5" front barrels are on back order.

Man that sucks. Interesting b/c they recommended 8.5 on the front but I wanted 9". Guess I got lucky kind of sort of?

I am running them when temps are back up in April. So the delay means nothing to me. I didn't see a point in running a wider wheel and tire to add weight. 8.5 should be fine for the fronts.

That's good to know, I might have to check into that.

just got car today and installed wheels right away. took rear shot at night but wheel is 19x9.5 et32 in rear with Michelin PSS 265/30/19. better pictures to come in daytime. wheels look great but seems i am really pushing it in. Drove 50 miles home today on setup and no rubbing issues. I had all my stock wheel loaded in rear so there was rear weight

Very nice! Can't wait so see some more detailed pics. That is definitely an aggressive offset. It sticks out 3mm further than my setup with a 285/30 tire. Do you plan on dropping it? If it was dropped do you think you would rub?

Not sure but according to Long Tran, I won't rub. I will eventually drop it but will be very conservative

According to your last photo shoted from rear, if you lower your car, seem will rub your fender unless you got a lot camber to avoid it.

No, they are in 'quality inspection' stage so it should be another two weeks. They have a rather SLOW turnaround time. It'll end up being 8-9 weeks total by the time I receive them.

I'm in no hurry since my car isn't even here but I just want them here so I can stare at them!

I talked to a friend who did an f30 with a 10 inch rear and a similar offset to my rear. Based on what they saw after the drop they think I will be fine. It actually seems like the suspension with most conservative drop is KW with 1.2" front and 1" rear. H&R and eibach seem to be having a more aggressive drop.

I know that its going to be very very tight. Scott@BMW is running 19x9.5 +38 w/ 265/35 on H&R Sport springs with no rubbing. My setup will stick out 3mm further than his so I think I have a shot. There's also someone in the classifieds selling 19x10 w/ 275 tires and no rubbing and he's slammed. He's not listing his offset but they are probably +45.

I've alread talked with Discount Tire and they said that we can try it and if it rubs, we can just take them off and order a different size. No harm there, I'd just have to wait another couple days.
I'm lowered on H&R Super Sport springs getting 19x9.5 rear et 35 with 265/35/19. Its going to be borderline close maybe too much. I'll let you know if mine rubs in the rear by the end of this week.

Cool, can't wait to hear your results. If yours fits with no rubbing, so will my 19x10 +45 with 285 tires.

I am about to put on 19x9.5 33et with 255/35r19 with H&R springs with non-m adaptive sport suspension. I shouldn't have any problems with rubbing should I? I looked up the changes and it said I would lose 18 mm on the inside and push out 20 mm on outside. but I couldn't find how much space i will start with.

The one think about stance I am still trying to learn is about the differences the tires can make. For example I got PSS tires for their overall quality but I have been told they are very thick tires and should have gone with a different one to increase my chances of no rubbing. Anybody know of a tire rater that measures tire thickness for those of us on the edge of aggressive setups?

Not sure about tire thickness but I'm going to try the Continental ExtremeContact DW tires b/c they are the lightest tire I could find. The second lightest are the Michelin SuperSports but they also don't come in a 285/30. I prefer Michelin so IF the 285/30 Conti rubs in the rear, I'll change to Michelin 275/30.

I don't think they make the Conti DW's in 285/30/19s anymore, just the DWS.
