Yes, that is of course if you would use it! They hold their value so well, I don't see a problem with you trying to sell it down the road for the same price or better. If you don't speed though, no need for it really.

Escort Qi45, got a steal on it when it was discontinued, $300 installed at BestBuy. Basically a pre GPS built in 8500.

i have a few 8500 X50s but I'm debating switching because they never seem to shut the hell up. I think it's too many false positives.

Guys, I have a nearly new Escort Passport for sale. It's the one with bluetooth that was so good it was eating into the sales of the Max series so they discontinued it. Used it for just a couple months then bought a Max 360.
I also have a 9500ix for sale. PM me if interested. |

I ran Escort for decades and was pretty happy with them. The only times I got popped was when I was doing something stupid like 15 over on a dark, empty road. Then the detector just notifies you that you've been nailed.
Now that my commute is 2 miles, I've stopped using it completely. When I have to travel outside my area, I don't need to save time, so 75 MPH (5 over) is fine with me. It's nice not having to watch oncoming traffic like a hawk. That said, if I had to go back to the old 110 mile r/t commute on a daily basis, I'd be upgrading to a V1, I think. I've always wanted to give those arrows a try.

I came from a V1 to Escort.. my commute is increasing from a 4 block walk to 60miles round trip. I sold my V1 since I figured I'd hardly use it but it never let me down. Was actually about to order another one but right before I pulled the trigger and the Escort 360 popped up for the same amount. Bought it from a anti gang unit cop here and the range is unbelievable
