Please tell me more about coding the audio over bluetooth with the 609 option? How do I get this done?

This is correct. Also like others have said I believe the bluetooth streaming became standard in MY2015.

Make a post in your local section though first, as nice as BimmerTech is I'm sure someone locally will do it for free or cheap. I do free coding in the NY area.

Hi guys I have 6NH and 606 business navigation its a January 2014 f30 320 D m sport uk spec.

Can I get mine coded !

You have a head unit called Entry_Nav
you should be able to code audio over blue tooth to work.

I have bluetooth phone connection but no bluetooth audio.
Can it be coded?

I ship the car from the uk to the states or one of you guys comes over here for a vacation ? Remember your laptop !!

(I am taking into local place in the morning for them to have a look, they are recognised for coding of German cars so should be able to do it, any advice on what I need to tell them to do !! Thanks for the heads up !)

I have this issue also. Just bought a 2012 328i with nav. I have no bluetooth audio streaming option. Took it to the dealer and they say that even tho I have nav, I dont have enhanced bluetooth for audio. They say it cannot be changed. Is this true or is there a fix for it thru coding?

To code Bluetooth Audio the Combox module is required, regardless of Navigation (609).

Combox is standard in the F30 since MY2014. Otherwise it is the BMW Assist module.

if you have Navi with option code 609 then you should have combox installed. Cars built 11/2011 to 03/2014 with option code 609 will have combox built in. and you can code audio streaming. Same build dates with HU_ENTRY with 6NH will not be able to code streaming Bluetooth.

07/2014 onwards cars with 609 or Navi (NBT) will have combox built into the head unit or NBT. Entry_Nav with 6NH can also be coded for bluetooth audio streaming.

ok...I dont know about the HU_ENTRY, but I do know that I have the 6NH code, cause the dealers both told me that. The dealer I purchased from in California says it can be coded to stream, but the dealer in WA syas no. Grrrrr! this is so frustrating!

As stated above, if there is a BMW Assist feature in your car then OEM A2DP can be coded in.

That just peeves me off about BMW. I had a 2006 Holden SS (australian built equivalent of Chev) and it had Bluetooth audio standard. Luckily my MY15 has all the features I wanted standard.
