Now that the pissing contest is over....

Can we just all admit that sport suspension matters to some people more than not having one.. And that a 320i sport is a decent deal for some people, instead of shitting on others because you can't justify your sunken cost.

We get it, you love your 328i, 335i etc... But no one on here is shitting on their own 320i with sport or bitching the engine blew up, but all I see are people bitching about their 328i and 335i for days....

^^ dude bro! Got the coding done today. So awesome, review to follow shortly. Sport+ a la Sport AT is what the car was missing. Really makes the most of the stage 1 power. Tom hooked it up!

Oo and a sport 320 and a 328 no line do not handle the same.... At all..... That's a fact.

But yes I will have fun in my "slower" car. Laughable.
Even with your "Stage 2", you are still off my car buddy. Your just dick riding your 320 too hard. .

If y'all look at my first post on Page 1, I recommended him to get a sport 320I over a no line 328I. But apples to apples the 328I is better than a 320I and someone with a 335I should know that.

I'm a BMW fan (I've had 3), but I'd take a A3 2.0T any day over a 320I. And with that I'm done. You guys enjoy your 320s.

If your 328i is stock, then no, the stage 2 320 would have it beat. "Better than" is highly subjective. But regardless, good troll, sport-o.

Lmfao... Apparently someone doesn't know how to read dyno figures.... 320i stage 2 with e85 is far beyond a stage 1 328i.

Jesus I love rookies. And "dick riding" how does that even make sense? Must be a child.

100% agree. I've driven both. The ATS drives much better than the 320i sport. Steering, brakes, and road holding far superior.

He was referring to the Quattro not the Caddy.

The 320 beat the A3 in the road and track side by side comparison but as with many magazine articles, it's probably worth less than the paper it's printed on

Tom mentioned he's done a good amount of coding for you. He's a good dude.

Just based on how both cars look, the 320i wins over an A3.

For those of you comparing a modded 320 to a 328, remember the 328 also has std power memory seats and offers more interior and exterior color choices as well as more packages and options. A 320 with ZPP is a great budget 3 series but it's a fairly basically optioned $35k car.

LOL - oops. Still I'd take the ATS 2.0T over the 320i. Can't say about the VW A3 though. Not a fan of Audis; not keen on building 27,000 different models off the same platform.

Yes he is. Funny thing; after meeting him through the forums we discovered we went to the same high school two years apart. Small world sometimes.

This is a good point on 2 levels. 1, if you option a 328 just like mine, basically sportline with moonroof, it is about $6-7000 more (I don't have BMWusa in front of me so give or take) than a 320i and the difference is more stock power and power seats. People point out that a 328 is a few hundred lbs heavier but considering the power advantage, that point is moot. So if you don't mind spending the extra money, there is really zero reason to get the similarly optioned 320 over the 328.

2 - because a 328 offers so much more in the way of packages and options which can quickly skyrocket the price, one is more likely to spend quite a bit more than a $7000 difference on a 328 vs. a 320, thus the real world difference is anywhere from $10-15k. So yes, budget 3 series. Essentially a great budget RWD German sports sedan w/minimal frills that, as mine has shown, can be transformed with a little $ and effort in terms of power, coding, etc. But I'm a cheap bastard and there is no question that a 328, optioned correctly, is a better car by a considerable margin.
