F33 Convertible rear windows loose

2014 428i Convertible. With the top down and windows up I leaned over the rear driver side window and the glass gave a bit and I heard a 'thunk'. Now there is a small gap between the back and front window (used to be flush) and it's slightly loose. The top goes up fine and when it's up there is no gap. Window also goes up and down with no problem.

Any ideas what I did and suggestions on how to fix it? Thx

Not something you want to mess with...take it to the dealer. It should still be under warranty.

Not to be "that guy" but i don't think leaning on the glass and breaking the mechanism qualifies as a warranty fault?

I hear you, but I have seen first hand BMW dealers fixing things that are clearly the owner's fault. It's like what Apple does - they bend the rules a little because they want to keep their customers happy and loyal so they keep coming back for more. Either way, I still wouldn't attempt to fix something like that myself. There's a lot of engineering that goes into these cars - if you don't have the knowledge, special tools, etc. it's not a good idea. Things can go south pretty easily...
