TPMS accuracy

I noticed there is a slight difference between my digital readout of tire pressure and car's TPMS of about +/- 1.5 p.s.i. Anyone else experience this?

Mine is dead on with a standard tire pressure gauge.

My TPMS is very close to my mechanical gauge.

Does a +/- 1.0 psi make a big difference in tread life?

Not really, I get at least that much variation between cold versus warm tires. You should get a mechanical tire pressure gauge and see if that agrees with the TPMS. If so toss the digital.

maybe .2-.3 off. Tires jump 1-2 PSI when hot.

Be careful, I've heard that if your tire pressure is off by 1.5PSI you will lose control of your M4 leaving Cars and Coffee.

I had a warning last week that my tire pressure was slightly off. So I kept an eye on it while driving but didn't see anything to be honest, looked fine, kept the screen on while driving and saw that it changes according to temperature but in the end I just reset the values since they were fine to get rid of the warning ... I didn't noticed any significant difference though in terms of readout.
