But you can get them dealer installed. I haven't received the labor quote yet but you'll pay $2200-$2500 for the brakes and probably another $500-$1000 in labor.

That's good as BMW Aus quoted me 2.3k for the brakes excluding labor.. It seems to be very close in terms of pricing which is good, but keen to know actual figures if someone has got them done before.

Well thats the only difference. Same calipers and pads, same size break discs but the M perf. are drilled. The M Sports are cheaper cause u get them factory installed and don´t have to pay for labor (mounting, calibration, coding etc.). Im really pleased with them cause they do have an extra bite and fill up the wheel nicely.

I payed 7000 SEK, around 1000 USD, for the option but your car prices across the pond are an insult to us over here, so 2k USD for the brakes is nothing. Do it

I don't think there is much difference in driveway price. Don't forget in NZ we don't have any duties or other taxes on top of the listed pricing on the BMW website. The 335i is within 5k of the AU price, and has extra standard kit. And there is a 20% exchange rate difference.

Not to mention a smaller market here.

Both NZ and AU are expensive compared to the US though!

Do you really need other brakes? Is there something wrong with what you have? If so, have your dealer check it out. Mine are just fine.

Of course if you want new brakes for the visual aspect…….

Cheers
