Low "gong" volume before POI online search

When using the voice commands, and saying "Navigation">>"Points of Interest", the system readies an online search and gives you a little prompt before you say the place you want to go. The problem is the "gong" for when to say the point of interest is very low. Has anyone found a way to increase the gong?

Go to the main menu of your idrive then Multimedia, Tone , Volume Settings, Gong
and adjust the volume to your preference. You can also adjust the volume of the Nav
directions as the women is talking by pressing the + button on the steering wheel
and the volume will increase.

Thanks for that. I've adjusted the NAV volume of the nice lady's voice like you mentioned. I thought the gong volume was for the seat belt warning etc. but I'll try it and see if it affects the prompt.

Is there anyway to turn the gong down lower than -5

Tried this yesterday. Unfortunately the gong volume in the multimedia menu doesn't affect the volume of the prompt before voice input in POI online search.

Then the only recommendation I would have would be to call the BMW genuis
line and see if they know the answer. Sorry I couldn't help further. I am
a new owner like yourself.
