E46 M3 wheels on 335i

Looking for some winter tires for my 2014 335xi (with m sport and m performance brakes) and came across some 18"e46 m3 wheels:

Front Tires: 225/45/R18
Rear Tires 245/40/R18

Not sure if they will fit or not. Anyone know by chance?

I don't believe they will, although they might with spacers. M3 wheels, especially the rears, have very low offset - 15mm or so IIRC.

The E46 M3 wheels had offsets of 47 front and 26 rear. I don't know if the xi has the same offsets as the 335i. If it does, the 335i offsets are 36 front and 47 rear. If the xi offsets are different, this will not be correct. Someone else will have to answer that question.
Higher offset number means wheel is more to the inside of fenderwell. Lower offset number means wheel is more to the outside of fenderwell (sticks out more). So if you had a 335i and wanted to use the E46 M3 wheels, you would definitely need spacers and longer wheel bolts for the front, and the rears would stick out too much and probably rub against the fenders. It does not sound like a good match to me.

You can't use spacers with low offset rims. You have to use them with higher offset rims! But if you want to use the full set, it won't work. You could use 4 fronts if you want to go square though.

Aaargh. I always get confused with these stupid offsets. The rears will almost certainly rub the fenders.

Thanks for the info guys. Offsets is something I always mess up and can never get right. Looks like I'm just going to be going with a square 225/45R18 setup with a replica wheel from a local dealer.

I mounted these on my f30 msport (dont know how much bigger these mperformance brakes are). They fit and does not cause any rubbing. but they did change my steering angle (light would flash on lock to lock turns). Not sure if reprogramming would fix this issue. The rears looked great both up front and in back but the front wheels looked like oop: A set of 4 rear wheels would look
