2013 F30 328i Jet Black Sportline Initial Mod suggestions??

I am currently a medical student and just purchased this car for myself as my E60 was losing its luster. It is jet black with black leather and the red trim at the piano black trim inside. I am searching for some essential/affordable modifications to do to the car besides have it tinted. My thoughts were blacking out the whiskers, the chrome grills getting them black as well and changing the reflectors as well. How does that sound? anyone else have similar changes and if so what would that cost or should I do something different instead?

Thanks for your input...

I just got my black on coral F30 last week. So far I've ordered/installed a black kidney grill, some LEDs, black license plate frame, tinted plate cover, got the windows tinted to 5%, and I also have a carbon fiber OEM style spoiler that should be arriving today or tomorrow. All in all, the upgrades have set me back less than $350.

I also had black wheels on my E92 that I traded in, so I paid to have the factory tires installed with OEM TPMS on my aftermarket black wheels (got lucky on wheel size). They're only 18s, but they are suitable for now.

Here's a pic before the tint and grill install. Once I get the spoiler on later this week, I plan to take some good pics, and I'll post more...

Here is mine; change the corner bulbs to have a clean look in the lights, tinted 35%, black grill and black M5 rims

That's a really good look.

Installed my glossy black grill last night:

Thanks ARBMWGuy for the suggestions... Looks great. Id love to see the pics after you install everything. What are your thoughts on the orange reflectors?

I'm really not a fan of the black grill, I think it makes the front all jumbled together... no seperation, atleast on BLACK cars.... on White cars it looks great

Here's mine, I'm also in Miami.....

Mods List:
Changed Corner lights to remove Egg Yolk in headlights
AG M355 Wheels
Tints
Debadge rear

I got it on eBay. It came from Taiwan to the US, but shipping time was actually pretty quick (less than a week). I installed it myself last night. You must detach the top portion of your front bumper to access the tabs that hold the OEM grill in place, but overall it was a pretty simple install.

I used this walkthrough and did the whole thing in about 15 minutes (with use of power tools to remove and replace torx screws):

I've got a carbon fiber trunk lip waiting to be installed this week (I'm too OCD to attempt this one myself), and then my initial mod phase will be done. I'll eventually do 20" wheels though.

Here's what the spoiler looks like:

You know I traded my E92 in on the F30, and I kept the reflectors orange the whole time I had the car. I'm not sure if I'll do the same this time or not. I think it looked good with orange reflectors on the E92 though...

Beautiful Car ! Very Clean lines and the chrome grill adds separation. I also have a Black F30 Sportline and think I will stick with the factory grille. The Black grills look great on all other colors especially white ( it adds separation)..
BTW - I'm jealous of your tint - up here in NC - we can only have 35% -

Same here, my front tint is illegal, however, being in South Fla and it being so hot I guess its ok, 80% of cars have it and police look the other way!

TY for the compliment btw!

I agree on the grill too. I also think the black wheels look much better on other colour cars too not a big fan of the black car and black wheels.

I went 35% on front and 20% on rear. For my tint.

Replaced turn signal indicators with Philips Silver Vision bulbs, still illuminates yellow, but removes the yellow bouncing around in the headlight without the bulb being on,

I would do Black color matched side marker reflectors, LED Fog's to match the head lights, and to silver whisker mabe black. I agree with the majority here that you should keep the chrome grill though.

That was a square setup: 19x9 ET35 245/35/19

That was my old car, no longer have it, I did the same style wheels again, only staggered this time.... 19x8.5 ET 33 / 19x9.5 ET 39

Great thread for new owners. Just picked up a 2013 328i Xdrive, BSM with Black leather w/red trim, sport line. Absolutely love it, this is what I have done so far:

- OEM CF spoiler
- Double whisker black gloss grill
- Eurotrim M steering cover
- Clear corner reflectors
- CF non-M bumper lip splitters
- CF shifter cover/trim

Future:
- Non M rear diffuser (impossible to find!)
- Window Tint
- LED lights (non-Xenon, dont want to deal with the installation)

I'll try by best to post pics soon...this is the stock pic:
